Hindalco Awards Contract for Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) System to W. L. Gore & Associates

Hindalco has awarded a contract to W.L. Gore for FGD control with its Sorbent Polymer Catalyst technology at the Renusagar Site for an 80MW unit. The GORE® SO2 Control System is a catalytic, reagent-less FGD system designed to fit tight spaces, consume less water, and reduce operating costs.

March, 2022: W. L. Gore & Associates recently partnered with the Southwest Cement Group to help the Lisen Plant in Deyang, China, dramatically transform its dust collection system. The resulting reduction in emissions, energy consumption and operating costs clearly justified the investment.
