ELKTON, Md. (April 25, 2017) – W. L. Gore & Associates (Gore), announced today it sold assets to manufacture and deliver the GORE® Ultrapure Water (UPW) Filters, GORE® Microelectronics Process Filters and GORE® Bulk High Purity Chemical (HPC) Filters’ product lines to Entegris. This is a further evolution of Gore's filtration business strategy in a way that aligns our core competencies with the dynamic markets in which we operate. We will continue to focus on developing and manufacturing filtration media for semiconductor and microelectronics processing applications that will meet our customers’ needs.

Gore will continue to sell filtration media both for semiconductor and microelectronics processing applications, as well as, for pharmaceutical, bioprocessing, and food and beverage applications. Unaffected by this transaction are Gore’s portfolio of filters for industrial processes, bag houses, disk drives, gas turbines, outdoor cabinets, pharmaceutical and life sciences applications.
