New PolyVent High Airflow Brings Next-Generation Performance to GORE^® Protective Vents Screw-In Series

Gore's new PolyVent High Airflow incorporates next-generation technology that provides a new level of protection and safety for outdoor enclosures that are exposed to extreme conditions. The advanced performance of this new vent is also ideal for outdoor electronics manufacturers who need higher airflow to:

• Design larger enclosures (up to 50 liters air volume)
• Adopt more cost-efficient enclosure designs
  (thinner walls, less rugged seals)

With twice the airflow, reliable ingress protection and enhanced flammability resistance, new PolyVent High Airflow:

• Delivers airflow of up to 4,000 ml/minute at 70 mbar pressure differential – TWICE the airflow of the prior “HA” vent
• Meets the most rigorous ingress protection standards: IP66, IP67, IP68 (1 hour immersion at 2 m) and IP69k (high-pressure steam)
• Features an improved O-ring that is UL 94 V-0-rated (as are the vent body and cap) for flammability resistance.
• Provides oleophobic as well as hydrophobic resistance

While these new vents incorporate distinct performance upgrades, they are engineered and manufactured to the same sizes and quality specifications as prior-generation “HA” vents. Designed for screw-in installation, Gore’s new PolyVent High Airflow is available in two colors: PMF100585 – Black, and PMF100586 – Grey.
